Marko Dimitrijevic

Marko is an experienced developer from Serbia, building with WordPress and hooked on web development since 2012. His journey started even earlier, with him building his very first website using photo-editing software (long story).

With many years of experience building themes, stores, and plugins, and after transitioning from various page builders to the Full Site Editor and AI-driven development, he has moved past caring about titles or hypes. Instead, he focuses on sticking with WordPress fundamentals, doing meaningful work the right way, and contributing more to the community.

His role at Melapress is diverse, ranging from DevOps, site maintenance, and performance optimization to A/B testing, as well as developing new FSE themes and specialized plugins. His primary focus is enabling editors to create beautiful, functional layouts easily by leveraging the strengths of the WordPress Full Site Editor.

When rarely away from his laptop, he enjoys spending time with his family.
