CAPTCHA 4WP Plugin Acquired by WPkube
We have some exciting news to share! As part of our ongoing efforts to focus more on our core plugins that power WordPress security and management, we made the decision to sell CAPTCHA 4WP. And, as of today, CAPTCHA 4WP has officially been acquired by Devesh Sharma, the mind behind WPkube.com.
Devesh and his team are well-known for their expertise in WordPress, and we’re confident that CAPTCHA 4WP will continue to thrive under their leadership. As they take over the plugin, you can expect continued support and improvements to this popular WordPress plugin.
CAPTCHA 4WP will soon be available at captcha4wp.com, where Devesh and his team will ensure the plugin’s ongoing development and success. This move will allow us at Melapress to focus even more on our core plugins, including WP 2FA, Melapress Login Security, and WP Activity Log—tools that help WordPress users better manage and secure their sites.
Note from Robert, CEO of Melapress: “We acquired CAPTCHA 4WP (then called Advanced noCaptcha & invisible Captcha) back in 2021. However, after rebranding the plugin, bringing the codebase in line with Melapress standards, and further developing the plugin with great new features, we slowly began to realize it didn’t quite fit in with our core plugins. Marketing was mostly separate from our other plugins, and the development work was very front-end-heavy, which isn’t the case with our other plugins. We now hope to use the time we used maintaining and updating CAPTCHA 4WP to focus on our core plugins and newest plugin, Melapress Role Editor.”
We’d like to thank all of our users for their support of CAPTCHA 4WP over the years, and we’re excited to see the plugin continue to grow with Devesh and the WPkube team.
