Restrict access to 2FA settings on WordPress

When you install theย WP 2FA pluginย on your WordPress site, by default all users with the administrator role can access and change the 2FA settings, including the 2FA policies. On a multisite network, all users with super admin capabilities can also change the 2FA settings.

You can restrict access to the WP 2FA settings by enabling the Hide settings from other administrators option.

To enable this setting:

  1. Go to WP 2FA > Settings.
  2. Find the Limit 2FA settings access section.
  3. Select Hide settings from other administrators.
  4. Click Save settings.

Once enabled, the WP 2FA configuration area will be hidden from other administrator users. Only your user account will be able to access and manage the plugin settings.
