How to redirect users after they configure 2FA

WP 2FA allows you to redirect users to a specific page after they finish configuring two-factor authentication (2FA).

You can configure a redirect for all users, or use a different redirect for users who configure 2FA from a custom frontend page.

Redirect all users after they configure 2FA

To redirect users to a specific page after they configure 2FA:

1. Go to WP 2FA > 2FA policies > Sitewide 2FA policies
2. Click User access settings tab
3. Scroll to the Redirect users after 2FA setup setting.
4. Enter the URL where you want to redirect users after they complete the 2FA setup.

If you leave this field blank, users will return to the page they started from after completing 2FA setup.

Redirect users who configure 2FA from a custom frontend page

If you allow users to configure 2FA from a custom frontend page, you can specify a different redirect for these users.

This redirect applies only to users who configure 2FA from that frontend page. It allows you to send these users somewhere different from the URL configured in the general Redirect users after 2FA setup setting.
